Homesteader Pouring Milk | Stippling Art Print | Limited Edition of 5
This stippling print of a black woman homesteader pouring milk captures a quiet moment out on the farm. She represents one of the 1880's Oklahoma Homesteaders who came to the territory- Western Oklahoma- after a migration of sorts took place from the Federal Homestead Act. Women were able to take charge create generational wealth with the hard labor and entrepreneurial spirit. This kind of story-rich drawing is what defines my work. Using the stippling technique, the woman in the image is softened even more when viewed at a distance. This piece ensures a rare addition to your collection or living environment.
The original stippling art was drawn on watercolor paper.
